Sebastian Contreras
Senior Osteopath
Originally from Knaresborough, Sebastian graduated with honours from the British School of Osteopathy, widely regarded as a premier osteopathic training institution, with a Bachelor’s degree in Osteopathy. He returned to Yorkshire in 2004 to provide osteopathic care to the people of Leeds and the surrounding areas.
Sebastian is a full member of the British Osteopathic Association and the Osteopathic Sports Care Association, and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council, which oversees professional standards and continuing professional development (CPD). A strong advocate of CPD, he regularly attends courses to update his skills and stays current with developments in osteopathy and medicine.
Following graduation, Sebastian completed a diploma in Classical Osteopathy, training with a 98-year-old osteopath who had been practising, teaching, and researching for 71 years. In 2013, he earned a Master’s Degree in Osteopathic Sports Care with distinction from Leeds Carnegie, further enhancing his expertise.
Sebastian specializes in spinal, sports, and work-related injuries, as well as postural correction. His experience working with PGA golf professionals and professional dancers reflects his focus on improving posture, function, and overall performance. In his spare time, Seb enjoys being involved in all sports but especially golf and running.
